The Palestinian Ministry of Health has reported that the death toll from Israel’s military offensive has risen to 52,908 since October 2023, with 119,721 injured, the majority being women and children.

Since March 18, when Israel resumed its assaults after a three-month ceasefire, 2,749 Palestinians have been killed and 7,607 wounded, further exacerbating Gaza’s humanitarian crisis.

Emergency services report ongoing Israeli attacks against ambulances and civil defense teams, making it impossible to reach many victims, including those trapped beneath rubble or scattered across devastated streets. Authorities warn the actual death toll could be even higher due to restricted access to the wounded.

The most recent Israeli drone attack targeted civilians in Gaza City’s Shujayea neighborhood, including children gathering food supplies. Meanwhile, Israeli forces continue their demolition strategy in Rafah, aiming to expand a buffer zone along the Egyptian border.

Recently released Palestinian detainees arrived at Al-Aqsa Hospital in Deir el-Balah, showing severe signs of exhaustion and dehydration. Their testimonies reveal torture in Israeli prisons, leading to renewed calls for prisoner releases.

The International Court of Justice (ICJ) is assessing Palestinian testimonies and evidence submitted under a resolution led by Norway, urging Israel to guarantee unrestricted humanitarian aid access to Gaza.

Palestinian Ambassador Ammar Hijazi presented evidence detailing the devastating short and long-term effects of Israel’s siege and military policy, reinforcing legal arguments for international intervention.
